Sad. Very Sad.

An elderly man suffered a massive stroke. The family drove wildly to get him to the emergency room, but their efforts didn't matter.

After what seemed like a very long wait, the ER Doctor appeared, wearing his scrubs and a long face. Sadly, he said, " His heart is still strong, but I'm afraid he is brain-dead."

"Oh, dear Lord," cried his wife, her hands clasped against her cheeks with shock! "Nobody in our family has ever been a Democrat before!"
